Art Exhibit – Al Perry Photography. See Al Perry’s unique views of the world through the eyes of a camera. Visitor Center Gallery.

April 10 – Jr. Ranger Program

Invasive Species

Hone your ranger skills as we hunt down alien invaders. Learn which species do not belong on the Island and what you can do to fight the spread. 12:00-1:30 p.m. Ages 6-12. Visitor Center.

Naturalist Skills – Bird ID

Join park naturalist for an in-depth look at birding. Bring binoculars as we learn how to ID birds in the field. Attend 5 NS programs and earn a patch! Visitor Center 1-3 p.m.

Ogden Astronomical Society
Star Party

Come and stare into the heavens with Ogden Astronomical Society. Get an up close look using large telescopes of our amazing night sky.
8 pm – White Rock Bay Campground.

April 24 – Hands on Bobcat

Learn about our resident feline. Touch skins and skulls, try hands on activities, and uncover the mysteries of this elusive cat. 1-3 p.m. Beach.

April 27 – Homeschool program

Island Ecology

Go in-depth with park naturalist on what makes the island such an interesting ecosystem. Open to all homeschool students. 1-3 p.m. Visitor Center.
