Site Update May 2025

Where I'm Headed Next With This Site

I'm writing this update as I've added a lot of new content lately and my traffic has grown significantly. You may be wondering if there is a rhyme or reason to what I am writing.

I've added quite a few pages on the individual Utah State Parks recently. My wife and I have visited many of them in person in past years and been to a lot of new ones this year.

Over the next couple weeks, my wife and I will be doing some extensive travel throughout Utah. We will be visiting many places that either we haven't been to in a long time or simply haven't been to.

New And Updated Pages Upcoming

I will be finishing my series on each of the Utah State Parks as we continue to visit each of them in person. I will also be updating many of my older pages as we revisit many of the places I've written about before.

You will also see that I will be updating many of the hiking pages and adding new ones now that I back to being mobile and fit after a couple surgeries.

If you visit my site frequently, you'll notice I've added quite a few new pages and articles lately. At the same time, I am updating and re-publishing older pages with current information.

I will continue to do this as I have time to improve and update the site. You may have read some of these pages before but hopefully the updates will be an improvement or just serve as a refresher.

If you see me republishing pages that you've already read, please bear with me. I'm just updating them and making them more current.

As I've mentioned before, I’ve had to put this site on hold a couple times over the last 4 - 5 years. There are various reasons but I'm back at it pretty much every day.

Ebooks

I am in the process of publishing one ebook on Kindle and already working on three more. Watch for those. I will also be writing a mirror site on Substack. That will enable me to continue to offer good (I hope) content on this site while allowing me to monetize my efforts on the Substack side and with the ebooks.

Contact Page

I realized that this page wasn't woking for a period of time. How long I don't know. That is fixed but I've had multiple people use the "Contact Us" form and simply leave their email address. No comment is left. I'm not sure why but if you've done that, feel free to contact me if you have a question or comment.

If you like this site/blog especially if you are a frequent visitor, please drop me a note using the “Contact Us” form and let me know what you want to see more content on.  Or email me at utahtravelsecrets@comcast.net  .

  • What do you like reading about most?
  • What do you want to see photos of (I’m easing back into outdoor and wildlife photography)?
  • What do you want to know about?
  • What kind of posts do you like reading?
  • What kind of a much more detailed eBook would you actually pay a few dollars (bitcoin, lbs., euros, etc.) for?
  • Do you want to learn more about the more popular destinations or the more out of the way places in Utah?
  • Or just let me know anything else you might be interested in.

Thanks for visiting my site.
