Road to Mercur Utah

This is the only site to have even mentioned it being close. I recently tried to go up and the main way was blocked off, so started to do research to see why as I have read that multiple people have visited it in the past but like stated previously no one even mentions it being closed of let alone why, so if you could reach out to me if you know why that would be great!

Why Is The Road To Mercur Utah Closed
by: Rod

The former town is a mining site. It is owned by Barrick Mineral Company. I have read that they have a cyanide processing plant there. They have fence and gated the road in so there's no access.
