Park City Ski &
Snowboard Swap

The Park City Ski & Snowboard Swap is just one more event that makes this former mining town ... and near-ghost town ... one of the world's funnest places to play.

People come from all over the map just to say they got a great deal here.  And this year's event ... 2013 ... is the 41st annual one

It's a huge gear exchange.  And often a bigger party.  But that's why Park City is so awesome.  It's the official party town of Utah.  And this exchange is Utah's biggest ski and snowboard swap.

It starts this year at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8 at the Basin Recreation Field House in Park City.  Closing that night when the Park City bars close.  At 1:00 a.m. Or at least when they officially close.

This is when you'll get the best deals.  Because the weekend crowd ... from down the hill ... will inundate the swap on Saturday and Sunday..

No equipment or clothing is more than five years old so you'll definitely be able to browse and score the best stuff no matter what your age or skill level.

But get there early.  I just recently learned about this swap and the best stuff goes fast.

What does it cost to get in?  $10 on Friday night.  $5 on Saturday.  $2 on Sunday.  That tells you something right there doesn't it?

The hours are 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 on Friday.  10:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.  And 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Where?  1388 New Main St. in Park City.

Have fun.
